My Story
Nearly 20 years ago, I learned that dimethicone was at the root of my skin issues, not aging. Unable to find performance skincare without silicones, learning to formulate skincare became a necessity. The payoff was better skin.
Today, I understand that a great many others that share my sensitivity to silicones, along with a great many sensitizing ingredients. Encouraged to share more broadly, I established about-face essentials -- clean skincare, independently owned and operated.
